Link in Bio; what is it all about and where is the best place to build it?

A few snippets from me to get you thinking...
Q. What is it?
Think of it as a landing page accessed from your social media profile that displays all your important destinations/links (URL's) in one place.
Q. Why do you need a Link in Bio page?
It creates a smooth and easy way for your followers to quickly find the content you want them to see.
It is a direct path for your social media followers where you can promote offers, share your online shop, latest content, newsletter sign-ups, course booking, and other social media profiles under one permanent link.
Social platforms limit the number of links from your profile depending on your needs this can be restrictive. i.e. Instagram has a max limit of 5. X, Tiktoc & Pinterest are limited to 1. FB business accounts allow 10.
If you have multiple links you want to share it makes sense to have one link and that is the link to your bio page.
Q. What links can I promote in the Bio?
Some examples below to get you started.
Link to own website
Link to offers
Link to a product(s)
Link to a service(s)
Link to a course booking
Link to blog(s)
Link to Subscribe
Pop Up Offers i.e 20% off for new subscribers
Social Share Buttons so your followers can share on their socials
Link to your business/own socials
Q. Can I have a branded link in bio page?
If your 'link in bio page' is built in your own website, then yes. If you use a third party app, then you are restricted to the limitations of their templates, you may also need to pay a subsription.
Q. Can I get Analytics & Tracking data?
If you have analytics and tracking on your website, then you will be able to analyse the traffic in the same way you do for you main website pages. If you use a 3rd party app, then the traffic data will not be available in your website.
FINAL THOUGHTS
Ask yourself the question 'What links make it easy for followers?
